Copyright in the content on this platform may also reside in persons and entities other than, and in addition to the Gallery. The Gallery seeks to share our artworks with as many people as we can. We are fully committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and always use our best efforts to obtain permission for artwork images used. Unless otherwise mentioned, all artwork images have been provided through the courtesy of the National Heritage Board. The copyright of the artworks belong to the artists or their authorised representatives.

Subscription to E-Newsletter

You should not reproduce, republish, transmit, or distribute any E-newsletter material without our written consent. You may download one copy of the E-newsletter or its materials on a single computer for personal domestic or non-commercial use as long as all accompanying copyright and other proprietary notices are kept intact.

You should use the E-newsletter for lawful and proper purposes only. You should not transmit any information through the E-newsletter which may be obscene or defamatory or open us to liability, or which may interfere with the operation or functionality of the E-newsletter. Neither should you use the E-newsletter to obtain unauthorized access to any of our systems.

We may cancel your subscription or block your access to the E-newsletter at any time at our discretion without advance notice.

Restrictions on Use of Contents

No part of the Content shall be reproduced, copied, published, adapted, uploaded, posted, transmitted or otherwise distributed in any way, without the prior written permission of the Gallery.

Submission Policy

My submission is an original work which does not infringe on any third party copyrights. I hereby grant the Gallery the permission to reproduce, modify and publish my submissions digitally or physically for purposes related to any exhibitions and events involving the Gallery, including the Gallery’s Children’s Biennale, partnerships with other museums and any of the Gallery’s marketing or publicity needs. I understand and accept that the Gallery has full discretion on which submissions it will publish or use on its website or otherwise.

Moderation Policy

Co-creation and collaboration form a key part of the Biennale experience. We allow anyone to submit artworks to the Biennale and make some of these submissions publicly available. We ask that users take this into consideration and be sensitive to how their artworks might be perceived by others. Public submissions are subject to moderation and may be edited or deleted if they are deemed inappropriate. Inappropriate content includes:

Content promoting discrimination and hate based on race, religion, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation
Content promoting violence and illegal activities
Sexually explicit content
Profanity and coarse language
Content advocating unsafe behaviour, such as self-harm or eating disorders Advertisements and spam

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of Singapore.
